Engraved keyrings made in the UK.
Personalised metal keyrings laser engraved in the UK. Engraving area, one side or two, artwork setup, bulk quantities and lead times explained.
An engraved metal keyring is the cheapest branded item that still feels solid in the hand, and unlike most promotional giveaways it stays in a pocket for years. Every keyring we supply is laser engraved in-house in the UK.
Metal keyrings versus printed ones
A printed keyring wears at the edges within months, because keys rub against it constantly in a pocket or bag. Engraving cuts the design into the metal instead, so it survives exactly the treatment a keyring gets.
Metal also carries a weight that plastic does not, and that weight is most of what makes a giveaway feel worth keeping rather than worth binning.
Permanent engraved mark, not a surface print
Nickel, aluminium and recycled aluminium options
Bottle opener versions double as a useful tool
Single tone - the engraved area shows the metal beneath
Engraving one side or two
Most flat keyrings can be engraved on both faces. The usual split is a logo on the front and a phone number, web address or short message on the back, which turns a giveaway into something that actually drives a call.
Round and shaped keyrings have less usable area than they appear to, because the fixing point eats into the top of the panel. We will show you the exact usable area on your proof.
Artwork for keyring engraving
The engraving area on a keyring is small, so simple artwork is not a compromise - it is the only thing that reads. A logo mark on its own almost always beats a logo with a strapline squeezed underneath it.
Send a PDF or high-resolution PNG. Colour logos are converted to a single tone before cutting, and we run a free file check so you see how that conversion looks before anything is engraved.

Quantities and cost
Keyrings are one of the lowest cost-per-item branded products available, and because engraving needs no plates or screens the price is driven almost entirely by quantity. Event and exhibition buyers usually order enough for a season rather than a single day.
For individually named keyrings - wedding favours, staff gifts, team sets - there is no per-design charge, so a mixed batch costs no more to set up than an identical one.
Can engraved keyrings be personalised individually?
Yes. Engraving has no per-design setup cost, so every keyring in a batch can carry a different name at no extra setup charge. Send us the list and we will proof the whole set.
Can you engrave both sides of a keyring?
On most flat keyrings, yes. A logo on the front and contact details on the back is the most common layout.
Will my colour logo work on an engraved keyring?
Engraving is single tone, so a colour logo is converted to one tone before cutting. We check your file free of charge and show you exactly how the converted version will look before engraving.
How small can the text be?
Anything under roughly 6pt tends to close up as the laser passes over it. We will flag any text in your artwork that is too fine and suggest an alternative layout.
Are your keyrings engraved in the UK?
